arrowThe Finnish trucking and transportation union, AKT branch, has issued a port strike warning, beginning on February 19, 2010, unless a new collective agreement is reached before then. To speed up the negotiations, the members of the union halted work for 24 hours in the ports in Helsinki, Kotka, Turku, Naantali, Hanko, Uusikaupunki and Kokkola starting at 6:00 am on Tuesday February 2.
