Mols-Linien deep in red after first half of 2010
PrintPrint this article emailContact the editor

arrowMols-Linien reports red figures for the first half of 2010. A severe winter with snow-covered roads among other things, is one of the explanations for fewer passengers and cars on the service from Århus to Sjællands Odde. Due to higher fuel prices some extra DKK 25 million were added to the expenses. The loss for the year’s first six months was DKK -51.8 million, compared to DKK -30 million in first half of 2009. Mols-Linien expects a full-year loss of DKK 20 to DKK 50 million. This could lead to new problems as some of the major shareholders in Mols-Linien are bankrupt as a result of the estate-market crisis.

Latest issue
Latest issuearrowThis time I thought Iʼd reveal some details about the making of a Shipgaz issue. The spread called Intro is the last one sent to press in this issue. Most of the pages in this magazine already lie printed and ready, just waiting for cutting and glue binding as soon as I finish these ones. This means that the pages throughout each Shipgaz issue vary in “age” when they reach you. And sometimes that has the annoying effect that already printed pages get somewhat outrun by reality while weʼre still working with the issue.
